Webberley Antiques has dated this piece to the 17th Century.

Comfortable, heavy and robust, the seat is a lovely size, beautiful colour to the mahogany with richly figured crotches of mahogany in each panel of the chair back scroll carved ends and with winged and panelled mid rails, all set on raked sabre legs.

Made by hand in around 1840 and of such superb quality that it has survived the rigours of time and use extremely well and is in excellent original condition.
Very beautiful and useable.
Dimensions are:
44 inches long, 15 inches deep and 33 inches high.
Floor to seat is 19.5 inches.
