19th Century Silver Plated Cocktail Tray with Inscription

Description

This lovely silver plated cocktail tray is beautifully engraved and bears a humorous inscription as follows :- 'A slight token of regard & respect 1884' and initials 'EF'. Marked to the reverse for PGS, Plated German Silver. With a beautiful reeded edge and three ornate feet.

The condition is good overall with no dents or splits, but with slight plate wear to the etched design.

Weight approx 650g.
