This belled out section the has wonderful floral shaped detailing to the front as well as a lovely bevelled glass pendulum viewing window to the centre. There is then another viewing window in the back door which is the original glass, it is not cracked it was simply made in two pieces originally due to the complex shape. The base is then stepped out via a nice moulding and is finished by four, thin square feet.

The dial is then silvered and set out in black, engraved Roman numerals with a thin ring to the outside marking the minutes. The centre of the dial is then signed by the maker "Frances Haywood London". Finally the dial is finished by two lovely shaped fingers as well as a protective, bevelled glass set into the brass bezel.

The movement is then wound from the front and accessed from the back. It is a single fusee example of the upmost quality and comes complete with its regulating pendulum, winding key, and travel nut. The movement also ticks away and works as it should.
