Description

Very elegant early 20th.c. Italian walnut window seat c.1920. Over seven feet long. Mounded walnut frame with crisp guilloche and acanthus carved detail. Raised ends forming swept arms with scrolling terminals with a tied tassel braid across the back. Over a webbed and padded seat in pale linen with a carved frieze below. Raised on turned and fluted legs. Very good condition with serviceable upholstery. Traces of an Italian paper label to the underside.
