This is an antique schoolmaster's hand bell. An English, bronze and walnut ringer, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

Delightfully patinated hand bell, with fine decorative appeal

Displays a desirable aged patina throughout

Bronze bell with superb weathered appearance and wide, flared rim

Turned walnut handle shows deep chestnut hues and fine grain interest

Easily discernible ring with a prominent cast iron clapper
