Description

1940s Revue military pocket watch, Royal Navy.

The watch has a Revue 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 53mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in good condition with just the odd minor mark, nothing too serious at all.

Both the bezel and case back are screw fitting. The back of the watch has the military arrow, or pheon, together with Patt 300 which refers to watches made for the British Royal Navy, probably for the wireless transfer office. The Patt 301 was used for torpedo control on submarines.

The acrylic lens has light marking but is very acceptable.

The dial is in good condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
