A very fine detailed and colourful indo-persian "kashan" design rug. Central floral elongated medallion and the whole design centred around it. With some lovely blues,pink and a mustard yellow. With finer knotting,twice the rug of a persian kashan for half the price !
Has been hand washed last two images,over 30 images of carpet.
All over even pile. Side conservators tape protectors to the back.
Size is 7 foot 4 inches by 4 foot 7 inches. 224cm X 141cm. At widest points. Fine dense wool pile hand knotted onto cotton foundations.
Weighs 8.6kg. U.k post £20.
