Fine Heavy 19th Century Copper Bucket

Description

A very heavy copper fire bucket / coal bucket. Dating to the 19th Century and marked to the front for 'H52/51'. With solid riveted handles and lead lined for extra stability. Having a beautiful colour and patina.

The condition is very good overall with no dents or splits. A few signs of age related wear and the odd stubborn black mark, but it is of very fine and heavy construction. Blackened to the interior.

Weight approx 4.5kg.

Height approx 30cm.

Total span approx 40cm.

Diameter at top approx 28cm.

Base diameter approx 23cm.
