Antique English Sterling Silver Ring Tree - Acorn Top - 1897

Description

A charming ring tree to accommodate six rings made from a heavy gauge of silver, a good weighty piece. The stand sits on a dish and it is topped with a wonderful little acorn.

There is a full English silver hallmark for the highly collectible Chester assay office and the date letter for the year 1897. There is also the makers initials S I Ld. for Stokes & Ireland Ltd. The underside also has the retailer's stamp "Powell, Oxford".

Excellent condition, standing 4" tall with a dish diameter of 2 3/4".
