Antique silver half hunter pocket watch 1912.

The watch has a good quality stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover with a presentation inscription which reads, 'Presented by Bodill, Parker & Co Ltd, to Howard Heald, on completion of his apprenticeship to press-tool making, November 4th 1913'.

The watch measures 50.3mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 925 silver and there are London import marks inside the three covers for 1912 with the importers mark for George Stockwell. The front cover is in good condition and has a small central acrylic lens surrounded by Roman numerals. The case back has general light surface marks and some unevenness.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition.

The watch has blued steel hands, including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
