Description

A fabulous ring with a carved tiger's eye plaque depicting a rather regal figure with an elegant ringlet updo. Although the details of the cameo have softened with age, the image is still nice and defined and has the lovely silky golden lustre characteristic of tiger's eye. The plaque is set into slightly rosy nine-carat gold with simple bead detail on the shoulders.

The ring is in very good condition with normal antique wear; the edges of the bezel mount are worn, particularly toward the bottom corners, but the stone is nice and firmly set.

Size: Q and a half (UK), approx 8.5 (US). The tiger's eye plaque measures 1.5 x 2cm and the top of the ring sits around 5mm above the finger.
