Description

A very well detailed Charles X period mantel clock. A colourful and unusual marble case with applied foliate decorations. An enamel chapter ring with engine turned gilt dial and gilded bezel surround. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Silk pendulum suspension. Circa 1820.
