Early Georgian Oak Dresser Board Circa 1740

18th century
Description

Superb early Georgian oak inverted breakfront dresser board with central bank of three oak lined drawers flanked by side cupboards having shaped raised paneled doors and standing on bracket feet. Quarter reeded columns to corners and with paneled ends. All in very fine original condition except old replacement brass handles and escutcheons and replacement iron locks to doors. Original iron door hinges. Wonderful rich deepish colour with great waxed patina. A fine and handsome example. Probably made in Lancashire.
