Fine Antique Regency Tripod Table / Occasional Table
This early 19th Century, Fine Antique Regency Tripod Table / Occasional Table / Lamp Table dates from ca. 1830. It has a beautifully figured one piece mahogany top that tilts with the original mechanism. It is unusual in design as the top has been positioned more forward, enabling this to fit perfectly in a corner of a room and could be pulled closer if in use as a tea table. This fine Regency table stands on an elegant turned pedestal with tripod splayed legs and the Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
