Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
It is an unusual design, with a nice and compact size, the quality is absolutely amazing. The sides are curved and this has a stepped top, with an inset black leather writing surface.
The chrome handles are original, and this is also beautifully polished on the back, so can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout.
