The angle of the mirror can be adjusted. The mirror is supported by a pair of finely carved supports above a central well, flanked by two pedestal chests. The central well features a working drawer with working lock and key and bears the makers stamp for Heals & Son London a very reputable cabinet maker . The two pedestals incorporating five graduated drawers each; decorated with stunning burr walnut detail, retaining the original turned knobs. The drawer linings are constructed of solid mahogany with hand dove-tailed construction and quarter beading. The Victorian dressing table stands on the original moulded plinths and hidden iron and mug castors. The can be removed for transport and is easily installed with two original brass wing nuts

The dressing table, is in excellent original condition, having been cleaned and French polished by hand in in our workshop, therefore the finish, colour and patination is of an excellent standard. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The mirror, which is the original mirror, is in good original condition, considering it’s a Victorian mirror and over 150 years old., please contact us for a quote. The Victorian dressing table pedestal drawers close flush to the frame and they also retain their original turned knobs . There are some old use marks to the drawer bottoms (see photos) but nothing significant. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
