The wide, reverse tapering shoulders are set on each side with three diamonds (one old mine cut and two eight-cuts) leading to a slim 18k yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
Cut – Cushion cut sapphire. The diamonds are old mine cuts and eight-cuts

Colour – The diamonds are G to H.
Clarity – The sapphire is slightly included. (The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.)
Carat – The sapphire is 1.93 carat (with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.14 carat.)
Circa – 1890.
Size – I (i) 1/2 (UK) or 4.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 6.28 x 6.95mm. Sits 5.6mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
