A rare pair of early 18th. Century walnut side chairs. The high backs having shaped splats with drop-in upholstered seats above deep shaped friezes. The chairs are supported on cabriole legs with carved ”C” scrolls, shells to the knees and over carved pad feet. The out-swept back legs joined with a turned cross stretcher and the whole constructed from good quality figured walnut with amazingly no woodworm or repairs. Dimensions:- Max.Height…39’’/ 99cm.
