19th Century terracotta Chinese nodding figure

A rare example of a late 19th Century hand crafted terracotta nodding figure. Aged hand painted detail, removable lead weighted head.

Size in inches: H 16” x W 5.5” x D 5.5”

Origin: China

Material: Terracotta

Completely solid in structure and form, naturally aged items with relevant wear and tear. The hands are missing, and a lot of the painted detail has flaked of but is all present as shown in the photos provided. An antique object that has stood the test of time, in overall presentable condition. Please take this into consideration when purchasing this. Its exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas of this piece, therefore we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections are unclear to avoid disappointment.
