The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement, calibre 49/1, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and it has a simple Art Design to both the front and back. The front has a couple of very minor indentations while the back of the watch has some unevenness. The inside of the front cover is signed with the Junghans logo.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition… there is a lot of reflection in the photos but that’s all it is.
The signed dial is in its original finish with Breguet style hands in a blued steel finish, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
