Description

A beautiful antique writing desk in the Regency style. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1910-20’s.

It is of superb quality and is a very useful item. There is a generous work space with an inset tooled leather writing surface, plus lots of storage space in the various drawers. This sits on a stretchered cross frame base with grooved edges down the front of the legs. The mahogany has a beautiful colour tone, the edges of the top are banded with yew wood. The back of this is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
