This is an antique decorative censer. A Japanese, bronze incense burner or jardiniere pot, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1850.

Strikingly patinated, from the late Japanese Edo period (1603-1868)

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order

Antique bronze weathered beautifully, with dark verdigris hues

Enthusiastically decorated across the bulbous form, with distinctive shallow handles

Raised upon a broad circular foot with rolled edge
