?Victorian Mahogany Folding Towel Rail

Description

A good quality folding towel rail or airer dating from the late 19th Century. It is made of mahogany and stands on two sleigh feet with a shaped base. It has two folding arms that swing out to provide plenty of rails.

It is in good condition and is very sturdy. The mahogany has a lovely rich patina and there are no major damages. There are a few minor knocks and marks and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
