A nice set of brass scales on a mahogany stand.

They are made by W.T.Avery and stamped with the name "J.Hare. B'ham" on the lever.

The mahogany stand has a useful opening drawer.

They are complete with a set of brass weights of 5oz., 3oz.,2oz., and 1oz.

They were possibly appothocarys scales but are suitable for all general weighing.
