Small George V Silver Magnifying Glass by John Biggin, Sheffield 1921

Description

This small and useable silver small desk magnifying glass is date Sheffield 1921. It has a decorative silver tapered handle, the hallmarks present on both sides of the handle. Mounted with a 4cm diameter steel mount inset with magnifying glass.

Hallmarks:

JB for John Biggin.

Sheffield Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "d" for 1921.

Condition:

Good.

Handle in very good condition with minor surface wear , commensurate with age and use.

Glass with no surface scratching.

Dimensions:

Length 10.5cm / 4.5 inches.

Glass diameter: 4 cm / 1.5 inches.
