Description

Primitive 17th.c. oak six plank coffer c.1650. A little larger than average, very solid and sturdy, could be used as a seat with storage. With a simple moulded edge at the front of the lid. Iron strap hinges, lock plate and latch. Shaped detail to the feet. Some obvious wear and previous repairs and restorations. Generally very good condition with good colour and character. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
