Atropos Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.

This 18 drawer example is in good condition and has been well looked after. The drawers all have closely fitting glazed frame tops and run like silk on hidden bearer runners. The drawers are of imperial depth. All original glass, hinges, lock and key. The drawers are base lined with cork and papered with white lining paper. If re-lining is required with acid free white cartridge or plastazote we are able to carry out this procedure to the utmost professional standard upon request.

The cabinet rides on the original hidden casters for ease of movement.
The cabinet was originally designed to accommodate preserved insects but will, of course, be ideal for the safe display of numerous other collectables.
