A superb example of a 19thc yew wood trencher with ''salt well''...it is the same design as the early 17thc / 18thc trenchers ...a design that continued well into the 19thc....it is in excellent condition with a fine colour and even has the mark of an old collector''s label on the reverse.
English. C1860-80.
