4 Piece Solid Sterling Silver Tea and Coffee Service

1920 - 1940
Description

A fine example of an antique tea and coffee set consisting of a coffee pot, tea pot, milk jug and sugar bowl. It is a stylish set with an angular Art Deco style shape. The quality is superb and the silver is a good heavy gauge with a combined weight of 1369g.

Each piece is clearly hallmarked for William Neale & Son, Birmingham. The teapot, sugar and milk date to 1938 and the coffee pot dates to 1937. The base is also stamped for the retailer "Brufords Silversmiths Exeter".

The whole set is in excellent condition. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches and small dinks but nothing untoward or detrimental and the set displays very well. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
