Description

Very smart little Louis XVI style French marble top side cabinet c.1930. Useful small size, just 24½" wide. Original marble top with attractive pink and white figuring, canted front corners and a moulded edge. Over a slim drawer and a cupboard fitted with a single shelf inside. Superb parquetry and inlay work to the front and sides. With an inlaid guilloche frieze to the drawer front and a contrasting border to the door with inlaid detail at the corners, all repeated at the sides. Canted front corners, also inlaid to match and with large brass mounts top and bottom. Shaped apron between the feet with another large brass mount at the centre. Oak lined interior. Excellent colour and condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops, key supplied.
