Pair of 19th Century Antique Welsh Oak Kitchen Chairs

A charming pair of 19th century antique Welsh oak kitchen chairs. The antique oak kitchen chairs both have barbacks and solid oak seats. The Welsh oak kitchen chairs are raised on four square legs with straight stretcher supports. Even though they vary in size slightly, they make an attractive pair.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, stains, shrinkage and splits to the seats (pictured). There is further fading, splits and marks to the legs, however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the chairs. There is also evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique Welsh oak kitchen chairs remain structurally solid and sound. Overall, a good pair of antique chairs.
