Description

A late 19thc Art Nouveau mahogany wiring desk c1890. The desk has an upstand inset with a central paper rack and side compartments. The desk top has an inset leather surface. The drawers, with lock and key, contains an inset inkwell and original ink bottle. The desk stands on an elegant frame and legs with space at the front to sit under the desk. The entire piece is line inlaid with boxwood around the leather, on the upstand and on the legs and frame. A very stylish piece, in excellent condition.
