Sussex Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The original variegated marble top is in excellent condition as is the original bevelled mirror plate. The main body is straight grained Walnut and the top 3 drawers have inset parquetry panels. All the ormolu mounts, feet and handles and extremely well cast, all original and in excellent order. The 7 drawers all run smoothly. The mirror swings back and forth.
Overall this is a fabulous piece of French furniture undoubtedly originating from Paris.
We have fully re finished this to a very high standard so in excellent condition for the home.
