Description

A fine early 19thc mahogany D end break front card table c1820. The mahogany table top is crossbanded and line inlaid with satinwood and boxwood, in a D end break front shape, above an ebonised edge on the lower half of the top. The legs are line inlaid with spade feet and a diamond inlay at the top of each leg. The folding top, supported by the rear table legs folded out, opens to a rebaized interior surface. A fine and quality piece of furniture. Measures 92cm x 92cm when folding top is opened up.
