Bamboo Sword Stick with Square Section Blade

1900 - 1920
Description

Made at the turn of the 20th Century, a simple bamboo sword cane with white metal collar, inset glass lozenge in the handle and a square section blade marked for Solingen (German City known for making knives and blades) it is capped with a substantial brass and steel ferrule.

The sword blade is straight and in good condition.

The bamboo casing is also in good condition but has a slight bend to it.
