Antique Welsh Oak Bobbin Back Chairs

An attractive pair of early 19th century antique Welsh oak bobbin back chairs. The antique Welsh oak chairs both have decorative bobbin and rail backrests, with solid oak seats. One of the antique chairs has shaped open arms, raised on turned front supports. The Welsh oak chairs are both raised on square shaped legs with straight stretcher supports. Brilliant patina throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, minor stains, shrinkage splits and fading to the seats (pictured), further fading to the armrests (pictured). The antique Welsh oak chairs remain structurally solid and sound, with good tight joints. Overall, a great pair of early 19th century antique chairs.
