Description

A Large 19th Century Glass Jar & Cover.

the cover with a ringed button shaped finial handle, above the body sweeping outward and downward to a rounded rim, and collar. The cover fitting within the raised collar rim of the jar. The body with ring banded decoration, the base sweeping in a curved profile to the the tall waisted stem, resting on the circular foot. The underside with a polished pontil.

Height 20 inches, 50cm.

Diameter 9 3/4 inches, 25cm.
