This is an exceptionally well preserved solid silver timepiece which retains its outer protective case. We sell a lot of clocks and have been for over 43years, we have not seen this design before, its very ''clean'' design and simple geometric pattern are pleasing. It was retailed by Hardy Bros of the prestigious Burlington Arcade in Mayfair London, we estimate at around 1920-30. We will research the hallmarks to be exact though. The case has a small recess for the key (which is original) and is leather covered with two hinged doors, silk lined and printed with the retailers name. When considering an antique clock for your home it is worth looking into who has restored it.
