The brass cover with an acorn finial, over the domed and ringed body. The cover fitting within the outswept rim of the jar. The rounded body tapering toward the circular foot. The body decorated with flower and leaf reserve, amongst 'C' scrolls. The reserve titled 'Tabac de Scholte'.
Date circa 1750.
