Large Edwardian Silver and Cranberry Glass Scent Bottle by Walker & Hall, Sheffield Circa 1900

Description

This fabulous sterling silver and cranberry glass scent bottle was made by the renowned Sheffield silversmiths Walker & Hall and dares circa 1900. The spherical cranberry glass body sliced-cut to clear glass and mounted with a very decorative fully hallmarked, hinged silver lid

Fitted with a clear glass stopper.

Hallmarks:

W&H for Walker & Hall

Date letter half cut so not identifiable but possible between 1894 and 1910

Sheffield Assay mark.

Lion Passant.

Condition:

Excellent.

Silver lid in excellent condition.

Glass in perfect condition. No chips or cracks.

Dimensions:

Height: 12.5cm / 5 inches.

Diameter at widest: 9cm / 3.4 inches.
