Description

A wonderful large English magnifying glass with a sterling silver handle and a sterling ferrule where the hallmark can be found for Sheffield 1924.

The front of the handle is set with a beautiful piece of tortoise shell and inlaid with the prettiest gold pique inlay.

The nickel rimmed glass is of course new (by Hilkinson), making it a very usable, clear and undamaged lens. As useful as beautiful on your desk-top. Excellent condition, measuring 9" in length with the glass having a diameter measuring 4".
