Victorian Domed Rosewood Glove Box

Description

A very nice rosewood and mother of pearl domed glove box that dates to around 1870

It is in excellent original condition in a nice deep red colour, with a mother of pearl cartouche and escutcheon and MOP and stud designs on the exterior. It has been relined with hand printed paper with maroon pads on the base and lid and has a working lock and key

It measures 9 1/2 inches long, 4 inches deep and 3 inches high

Would make a lovely elegant gift for a loved one
