Description

For your consideration is this very stylish gents 10k Gold filled manual wristwatch made by the American watchmakers Elgin, dates to 1946. Square case is 10k gold filled top and back in great condition. Silver dial is also very clean. Elgin 17 jewel 558 movement just serviced and running well, keeping time. Serial number on movement signifies 1946 manufacture date. New plexiglass crystal, winding crown and 16mm leather strap. Just serviced, ultrasonically cleaned and oiled. The usual light scratches and signs of previous use, but no dents, dings or other noticeable flaws. Inside the back is signed: CASED AND TIMED BY ELGIN NATIONAL WATCH CO. ILLINOIS WATCH CASE CO. ELGIN 72057.
