Description

An excellent antique burr walnut writing desk of lovely proportions. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1920’s.

The quality is outstanding, this has absolutely gorgeous burr walnut grain patterns throughout, even on the back. There is crisp and intricate carving around the edges, and the front has a serpentine shaped design. The inset tooled leather top is segmented into three pieces, with beautiful burr walnut cross banding between each section.

We have recently had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
