The cover with lappet rim, fitting within the gadrooned rim of the vase, formed as a classical brazier. The rim divided by lion masks, flowing through the tapering reeds of the bowl, to lions paw feet, standing on a re-entrant sided triangular base.
The interior of the bowl with a lift out lead liner.
Date circa 1800.
