Antique Brass & Tole Floor Lamp

1920 - 1940
Description

A beautiful antique floor lamp in solid brass and green tole. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.

The quality is amazing, this is very solid and heavy. The metal work has fine details, with a Corinthian column design. The platform base sits on hairy paw feet, and this has its original silk shade which is also of very fine quality.

We have had this re-wired, it is in good working order. The overall condition is very good for its age, with various signs of surface wear to the metal here and there, mostly on the base.

Width base – 13 inches , 34 cm

Width shade – 25 inches , 64 cm

Height to socket – 61 inches , 155 cm

Height to shade – 76 inches , 193 cm
