IT MEASURES 89cmsLong 49cms High 38cms deep

THESE SIMPLE COFFERS WERE MADE IN EVERY PART OF THE COUNTRY ,WE CALL THEM "6 PLANKERS" BECAUSE THEY ARE FORMED OF 6 PLANKS OF OAK.

ALSO CALLED "ARROW BOXES" BECAUSE THEY WERE ALSO THOUGHT TO HOLD ARROWS.

DATING AROUND 1700 , MINOR REPAIRS TO THE LOCK.PLATE. LOVELY COLOUR AND PATINATION
