Fine Quality Kingwood Bureau Plat

Description

A fine quality French kingwood bureau plat in the Louis XVI style. Of very good construction with attractive kingwood veneers onto a mahogany and oak carcas. Decorated with fine ormolu mounts throughout and the table top surrounded with a solid brass band. With a single lockable drawer to the freeze. Fitted with a sumptuous black leather writing surface with gilt tooled decoration. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
