In superb outstanding condition throughout.

The case is quite outstanding, made of quarter sawn oak, it is in superb condition.
The original front glass door is set in a polished brass frame and is in perfect condition and this is complimented by the brass spandrels at each corner and the brass mask in the centre. There are fine fretwork panels to each side with a red velvet backing.

The clock is a quarter chiming ting tang clock which chimes once on twin gongs at quarter past the hour, it chimes twice on twin gongs at half past the hour and chimes 3 times at quarter to the hour. It strikes the full hour on a single gong. The gongs are very mellow and resonate beautifully for a very long time ,it sounds divine.
