Antique Silver Quaich - A E Jones

This is a fine example of a solid sterling silver quaich (whiskey taster) by the highly collectable firm of Albert Edward Jones.
 
It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1939. The hand-hammered body stands evenly on four pad feet and the handles are well-attached. There is a small (1cm) dent just along from the hallmarks, shown in the photographs, and the quaich is priced accordingly.
